Albright Metals (ASX:ABR) resumed its diamond core drilling operations at the Golden Pike Project in New Brunswick, Canada, following a brief weather-induced hiatus.

The exploration program, which focuses on the high-grade Bond Road and Albright Brook antimony prospects, was previously suspended in January due to unseasonal heavy rain.

With environmental conditions now stabilising, the company has mobilised a drilling contractor and secured a rig slot to complete this critical phase of exploration.

At the Bond Road Antimony prospect, the company is encouraged by previous surface boulder and soil samples that yielded assay results as high as 57% antimony.

The rig is currently stationed at Bond Road to complete planned holes before moving to the Albright Brook prospect.

Albright Brook features historical data, including drill hole DPA-16-01, which intercepted 12.5% Sb over 0.5m, and DPA-16-03, which recorded 4.74% Sb over 0.3m.

CEO Greg Hill expressed significant optimism regarding the project's resumption, noting that this represents the company's first dedicated antimony exploration program.

The planned works involve three holes totalling up to 460m of drilling.
