The SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Fund (ASX:OZF) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Index. The Index is designed to provide an effective representation of the Financial sector of the S&P/ASX 200 Index, excluding Australian real estate investments trusts (A-REITs), mortgage REITs, equity REITs, and real estate management & development companies. The Fund's objective is to provide investors with a low-cost and convenient way to invest in a diversified portfolio of Australian financial companies, excluding A-REITs. The Fund does this by tracking the S&P/ASX 200 Financials Ex A-REIT Index, which is a market capitalization-weighted index of the largest and most liquid Australian financial companies.
