French Trade Minister Nicolas Forissier discusses the trade relationship between the European Union and the US as President Donald Trump threatened to raise tariffs on cars and trucks from the EU to 25%. EU officials have said all options will be on the table if Trump follows through with the threat as the two sides work to implement the agreement. "There was an agreement last July, and so now we have to implement it," Forissier tells Bloomberg Television.

The French Trade Minister argued the EU will use tools if Donald Trump makes excessive threats to strategic industries, and is seeking to build a more 'predictable' trade relationship with the US. Nicolas Forissier spoke exclusively to Bloomberg TV ahead of France presiding a meeting of G7 Trade Ministers in Paris on Wednesday.

Airbus's adjusted earnings before interest and tax and revenue both fell short of analyst estimates in the first quarter, dragged down by a steep earnings drop at the main aircraft making subsidiary. The company said it's confident it can achieve its full-year aircraft delivery and earnings targets. She says revenue is being driven by large global clients deploying tailored models across industries. In an interview with Bloomberg's Francine Lacqua, Janiewicz also said that companies have been asking Mistral AI to customize models specifically targeted at cyber security.

Kering CEO Luca de Meo discusses the impact of the war in the Middle East on sales, the firm's partnership with ICCF, the Chinese owner of Icicle, and Demna's role as creative director of Gucci. Demna is "one of the greatest of his generation," de Meo says. "He has now in his hands one of the most beautiful brands in the sector, so I'm pretty optimistic that everything will work," he adds.
