XPENG (NYSE:XPEV) reported robust vehicle delivery results for March and the first quarter of 2026 on Wednesday, April 1, signaling a powerful start to the fiscal year.
The company delivered 27,415 vehicles in March 2026, representing a sharp 80% increase over February’s figures as production ramped up across its newest model lines.
The strong March performance brought XPENG’s total Q1 2026 deliveries to 62,682 vehicles.
Management attributed the growth to sustained demand for its flagship G9 and G6 models, alongside the successful integration of its latest ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) software, which continues to be a primary differentiator for the brand in the competitive Chinese market.
Beyond its domestic success, XPENG officially pivoted toward a massive global scale-up.
On March 25, the company formally entered the Mexican market, marking its first significant foothold in the Americas.
This move serves as the cornerstone of a new three-year Latin America strategy designed to establish XPENG as a regional leader in smart mobility by 2028.
As part of the roadmap, XPENG plans to launch a tailored portfolio of pure electric and range-extended (REEV) models in Latin America starting in 2027.
