XPENG (NYSE:XPEV) commissioned humanoid robot production lines and completed manufacturing of its next-generation IRON humanoid robot on an automated production line designed for future mass production.

The company said the move represents a transition from research and development prototypes to line-based manufacturing, with the facility built around automotive-grade production standards.

XPENG said mass production of its humanoid robots is scheduled for the end of 2026, with broader China and overseas market launches and deliveries planned for 2027.

XPENG develops electric vehicles and artificial intelligence technologies, with its robotics division expanding into humanoid robots designed for commercial and industrial applications.
