Wendy’s Q2 revenue comes in at $570.6 million

The Wendy’s Company (NASDAQ:WEN) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $570.6 million, up 1.7%, while global systemwide sales declined 6.5% to about $3.4 billion.

U.S. same-restaurant sales fell 7% and international same-restaurant sales declined 2.3%, while net income dropped 40.8% to $32.6 million and adjusted EBITDA fell 15.4% to $124.1 million.

U.S. company-operated restaurant margin declined 240 basis points to 13.8%, while reported EPS was $0.17 and adjusted EPS reached $0.18.

Meanwhile, Wendy’s withdrew its previous 2026 outlook and cut its quarterly dividend to $0.07 per share, or $0.28 annualized, as management develops a broader turnaround plan.

Following the announcement, Wendy’s share price was down 1.49% at $7.28 in premarket trading as of 7:06 a.m. ET.

Elsewhere, year-to-date operating cash flow increased to $160 million and free cash flow reached $120.3 million, despite continued pressure on the company’s U.S. restaurant business.

Wendy’s appointed Robert D. Wright as CEO in May and previously expected roughly flat 2026 global systemwide sales, adjusted EBITDA of $460–$480 million and adjusted EPS of $0.56–$0.60 before withdrawing that guidance.
