Tyra reports 79% response in bladder cancer trial

Tyra Biosciences (NASDAQ:TYRA) reported initial Phase 2 SURF302 results showing oral dabogratinib achieved a 79% overall response rate at the 60 mg once-daily dose in FGFR3-altered low-grade intermediate-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.

The 60 mg cohort included 22 patients and showed a 64% best overall complete response rate as of August 31, 2026, with responses continuing in patients who reached six months.

Among single marker lesion patients in the 60 mg cohort, the company reported a 100% overall response rate and a 75% best overall complete response rate, while Grade 3 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 4.5% of participants across the 50 mg and 60 mg cohorts.

Exposure-response analysis showed an 86% overall response rate among patients above an AUC threshold compared with 58% below the threshold, supporting continued evaluation of the 60 mg dose and exploration of a 70 mg cohort.
