
Thomson Reuters Q2 revenue reaches $1.95 billion
- Thomson Reuters’ second-quarter revenue increased 9% to $1.954 billion, while organic revenue grew 8%.
- Adjusted EBITDA rose 10% to $745 million, adjusted EPS increased 14% to $0.99 and free cash flow reached $727 million.
- Thomson Reuters raised its 2026 revenue outlook and agreed to sell a 51% Global Print stake to KKR-advised funds.
Thomson Reuters (NASDAQ:TRI) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.954 billion, up 9%, as its three largest segments delivered 10% organic growth.
Revenue increased from $1.785 billion, while organic growth reached 8% and the Big 3 segments generated $1.620 billion.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 10% to $745 million, adjusted EPS rose 14% to $0.99 and free cash flow climbed 29% to $727 million.
Following the announcement, Thomson Reuters' share price was up 7.4% at $109.15 after the company raised its 2026 organic revenue growth outlook to approximately 8%.
Thomson Reuters also agreed to sell a 51% Global Print stake to KKR-advised funds for approximately $500 million while retaining a 49% interest.
Elsewhere, the company completed a $605 million capital return, finished a $600 million share-repurchase programme and repaid $500 million of 3.35% notes.
