Supernus revenue rallies 32% as merger announced

Supernus Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SUPN) reported Q2 revenue of $219.1 million, up 32%, and announced an all-stock merger with Indivior Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INDV).

Revenue from Supernus’s four growth products rose 52% to $175.7 million, although a $54.9 million APOKYN impairment contributed to a $58 million operating loss.

Supernus raised full-year revenue guidance to $860–$890 million, while the companies said the merger could close during the fourth quarter of 2026.

Following the announcement, Supernus' share price was up 13.15% at $50.50 in premarket trading.

The merger gives Supernus shareholders 1.5401 Indivior shares each, with Indivior investors expected to own 56.5% of the combined company.

Supernus previously acquired Sage Therapeutics and now earns ZURZUVAE collaboration revenue while expanding Qelbree, GOCOVRI and ONAPGO across central nervous system treatments.
