  • Soluna Holdings expanded its agreement with Bitdeer to deploy approximately 7 MW of additional Bitcoin mining equipment at Project Kati 1 in Texas.
  • The expansion will bring Bitdeer’s total deployment at the site to 35 MW and approximately 2.42 EH/s of hash rate.
  • Soluna said the co-mining agreement model allows both companies to share proceeds generated from Bitcoin mining operations.

Soluna Holdings (NASDAQ:SLNH) amended its agreement with Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) subsidiary Dory Creek to expand Bitcoin mining operations at Soluna’s Project Kati 1 in South Texas.

The amendment adds approximately 7 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment, increasing Bitdeer’s total deployment at the site to 35 MW and approximately 2.42 EH/s of hash rate.

Soluna said the expanded agreement will use a co-mining structure where Soluna provides the site, power, and operations, while Bitdeer supplies and owns its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment, with both parties sharing mining proceeds.

Soluna Holdings develops renewable-powered data centers designed for energy-intensive computing applications, including artificial intelligence workloads and Bitcoin mining.

The company said Project Kati 1 is an 83 MW wind-powered data center in Willacy County, Texas, and that the K1BC phase supporting Bitdeer’s deployment is now fully subscribed.
