Silgan sales rise to $1.64 billion in Q2

Silgan Holdings (NYSE:SLGN) reported second quarter 2026 net sales of $1.64 billion, up from $1.54 billion in the same period of 2025, while net income declined to $75.8 million.

The company’s diluted earnings per share fell to $0.72 from $0.83 a year earlier, while adjusted diluted EPS was $0.98 compared with $1.01 in Q2 2025.

Silgan reported that adjustments increased second quarter 2026 net income per diluted share by $0.26, compared with adjustments of $0.18 per diluted share in the prior-year period.

The company’s second quarter results reflected performance across its rigid packaging operations, which supply containers and packaging solutions for consumer goods products.
