Robo.ai appoints Hao Wang as director

Robo.ai (NASDAQ:AIIO) appointed Hao Wang as an independent director to its board, effective immediately, following the resignation of Yehong Ji.

Wang will serve on the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Strategy and ESG Committee, with the company confirming his independence under Nasdaq and SEC requirements.

Wang has 20 years of finance and technology experience, including leadership roles at digital asset and blockchain-focused companies such as Changer.ae, SGTOX, MetaBank and IDEG Singapore, along with previous roles at Citi and Nomura.

The company said Wang succeeds Yehong Ji, who resigned from the board on August 11, 2026, and stated that his departure was not due to any disagreement with the company or board.

Robo.ai said Wang’s appointment expands the board’s experience in financial technology and digital asset-related sectors.

The appointment comes as Robo.ai continues developing its business strategy under its Nasdaq-listed structure.
