PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $8.68 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.38 per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations.

Revenue came in above the consensus estimate of $8.47 billion, while adjusted earnings surpassed the expected $1.28 per share.

PayPal said the quarterly performance supported an increase in its full-year earnings outlook.

Total payment volume increased 9% on a currency-neutral basis to $486.4 billion, reflecting continued growth across the company’s digital payment platforms.

Transaction margin dollars rose 1% to $3.9 billion.

PayPal provides digital payment and commerce services to consumers and merchants through platforms including PayPal, Venmo and Braintree.

The company now expects full-year adjusted earnings of approximately $5.38 per share and transaction margin dollars of around $15.6 billion.
