Parsons wins $85M U.S. Space Command headquarters contract

Parsons (NYSE:PSN) won an initial $85 million agreement to provide advisory services for the development of the U.S. Space Command’s new headquarters at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.

The contract was awarded by Army Contracting Command – Rock Island in coordination with the Air Force Civil Engineering Center and represents new work for Parsons.

Under the 75-month performance period, Parsons will serve as Owner’s Advisor, providing program and construction management support throughout the planning, design, construction, and operationalization phases of the project.

Parsons said its responsibilities will include helping the government manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk for the planned headquarters campus.

The new facility is expected to cover approximately 950,000 square feet at Redstone Arsenal and support up to 1,800 personnel.
