Parsons (NYSE:PSN) has secured a new $28 million task order from the U.S. Air Force to provide advanced software lifecycle support and system integration, reinforcing its position as a key technology provider for national security initiatives.

The contract was issued under the Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) Global Application Research, Development, Engineering, and Maintenance (GARDEM) 2 program.

The award marks the fourth distinct task order Parsons has secured under the GARDEM 2 framework during calendar year 2026, pushing the company’s collective program award total to $218 million to date.

The newly finalized task order carries a five-year performance period.

Under its terms, Parsons will be responsible for a comprehensive suite of operational services, including on-site technical training, system enhancements, multi-platform integration, rigorous testing protocols, tactical deployments, and holistic lifecycle maintenance.

These efforts are geared toward supporting and modernizing core GARDEM 2 software baselines.

By refining these software architectures, the Chantilly, Virginia-based defense and engineering firm aims to accelerate the deployment of high-tier, specialized capabilities to active Air Force missions.
