ParaZero Technologies (NASDAQ:PRZO), an aerospace defense company specializing in autonomous drone safety and interception solutions, has received a follow-on purchase order from an Israeli defense entity for its advanced DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS).
The order, announced April 6, 2026, serves as an expansion of ParaZero's existing direct contract with the defense organization.
The procurement is part of a broader initiative to bolster operational readiness against escalating drone threats, which have emerged as a primary risk to ground forces and critical infrastructure in recent regional conflicts.
DefendAir is a multi-layered, "soft-kill" interception platform that utilizes patented net-launching technology to neutralize hostile drones without the use of explosives.
This non-kinetic approach makes the system particularly suited for urban environments and sensitive sites where minimizing collateral damage is a priority.
According to the company, the DefendAir system has demonstrated a 100% interception success rate in multiple field trials, including the neutralization of high-speed FPV "kamikaze" drones and heavy-lift logistics platforms.
The DefendAir platform is available in several configurations, including a handheld "Net Gun" for infantry use, stationary turret-mounted units for facility protection, and drone-mounted interception pods for high-speed aerial pursuit.
The current order includes additional units intended for immediate deployment to ensure the operational readiness of security forces.
The follow-on contract follows a period of significant commercial momentum for ParaZero.
In early 2026, the company reported a 12% year-over-year revenue increase for fiscal 2025 and noted that it had already secured over $1.2 million in new customer orders in the first quarter of 2026 alone.
