
Oracle revenue rises 30% on cloud growth

Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $19.3 billion, up 30% year over year, driven by higher demand for its cloud infrastructure services.
Cloud revenue increased 62% to $11.6 billion, including Cloud Infrastructure revenue growth of 121% to $7.4 billion and Cloud Applications revenue growth of 10% to $4.2 billion.
GAAP operating income increased 57% to $6.7 billion, while GAAP earnings per share rose 55% to $1.56 and non-GAAP EPS increased 30% to $1.92.
Oracle reported record operating cash flow of $23 billion, while free cash flow was negative $5 billion due to continued investment in Cloud Infrastructure expansion.
The company’s remaining performance obligations increased by $209 billion to $664 billion, including more than $30 billion in new AI cloud contracts, while Oracle completed a $20 billion at-the-market common stock sale.
