Oculis to present Phase 2 Privosegtor biomarker data
- Oculis will present new Phase 2 ACUITY biomarker analyses of Privosegtor on October 22, 2026, at the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting in Toronto.
- The presentation will examine neurofilament light chain (NfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), biomarkers associated with nerve injury and nervous-system inflammation.
- Oculis is enrolling patients in its PIONEER-1 registrational trial and plans an investigational new drug application for acute multiple sclerosis relapses.
Oculis (NASDAQ:OCS) will present new Phase 2 ACUITY biomarker analyses of its investigational Privosegtor treatment on October 22, 2026, in Toronto.
The presentation will examine blood markers of nerve injury and inflammation, expanding earlier research into Privosegtor's potential benefits for optic neuritis.
Principal investigator Professor Céline Louapre will present NfL and GFAP findings between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. EDT at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Oculis continues enrolling PIONEER-1 patients and plans an application for acute multiple sclerosis relapse studies, although Privosegtor remains unapproved.
Privosegtor has received FDA Breakthrough Therapy and EMA PRIME designations, which support regulatory development but do not establish commercial approval.
The company's earlier 36-patient ACUITY trial reported improvements in visual function and retinal preservation, providing the clinical background for the new analyses.
