NetEase reported first-half 2026 net revenues of RMB60.7 billion, up 7% year-over-year, and gross profit of RMB42.4 billion, up 16.2%, while second-quarter net income attributable to shareholders declined to RMB7 billion.
The company’s first-half net income attributable to shareholders declined to RMB17.7 billion, with NetEase citing higher effective tax rates and lower investment-related gains as factors affecting earnings.
NetEase continues to generate revenue primarily through online games and related services, with gaming operations remaining the company’s largest business segment during the first half of 2026.
