Nebius acquires Inferize to enhance AI inference platform

Nebius (NASDAQ:NBIS) announced the acquisition of Inferize, an inference optimization company whose technology helps reduce the time required to launch and scale large artificial intelligence models.

Inferize’s technology will be integrated into Nebius Token Factory, the company’s managed inference platform designed to support production AI applications.

The acquisition aims to address "cold start" challenges in AI inference, where models require time to load before processing requests.

Nebius said Inferize’s technology can reduce idle GPU capacity, improve utilization and enhance AI infrastructure efficiency.

Inferize’s engineering team will join Nebius Token Factory and work on integrating its technology into Nebius’s AI infrastructure stack.

Founded in January 2026, Inferize developed a working prototype within three months.

The company joins previous Nebius technology additions, including Eigen AI’s model, kernel and system optimization capabilities and Clarifai’s inference and compute orchestration technology.
