Mako Mining Q2 revenue hits $62.6 million

Mako Mining (NASDAQ:MAKO) reported record second-quarter revenue of $62.6 million, with adjusted EBITDA of $31.7 million and net income of $13.9 million.

Revenue increased 61.7% from $38.7 million a year earlier as Mako sold a record 14,610 ounces of gold during the quarter.

Mine operating cash flow reached $25.9 million, while Mako reported return on equity of 36.6% and return on assets of 23.8%.

Mako realized $4,201 per gold ounce sold, with cash costs of $1,996 per ounce and AISC of $2,286, including $1,535 at San Albino and $3,708 at Moss.

Following the results, Mako Mining's share price was down about 7% at $9.07 in premarket trading.

Mako entered Q2 after posting first-quarter revenue of $68.6 million, adjusted EBITDA of $40.1 million and net income of $23.1 million.

The company also reported 598,000 ounces of proven and probable gold reserves at Moss in July while advancing Mt. Hamilton and Eagle Mountain alongside exploration around San Albino.
