Macy’s net sales reach $4.9 billion amid modest quarterly growth

Macy’s (NYSE:M) reported second-quarter 2026 net sales of $4.9 billion, up 1.1% year over year, and raised its annual guidance.

The company reported comparable sales growth of 2.7%, with go-forward comparable sales increasing 2.8%, while Macy’s comparable sales increased 1.1%.

Bloomingdale’s comparable sales increased 11.3%, reaching the brand’s highest second-quarter sales volume, while Bluemercury comparable sales increased 6.2%.

Macy’s comparable sales at its Reimagine 200 stores increased 1.9% during the quarter, reflecting performance from locations included in its store improvement program.

The company reported GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.62, up 100%, while adjusted diluted EPS increased 14% to $0.63 excluding a $0.23 net tariff refund benefit.
