Linde (NASDAQ:LIN) reported second-quarter 2026 sales of $9.3 billion, up 9% year over year, with adjusted earnings per share increasing as the company reported higher operating performance.
GAAP operating profit reached $2.6 billion, while adjusted operating profit increased 7% to $2.7 billion and adjusted diluted EPS rose 10% to $4.50.
Underlying sales increased 4%, while operating cash flow reached $2.3 billion during the quarter as Linde reported continued earnings growth across its industrial gases business.
Linde forecasts third-quarter 2026 adjusted diluted EPS of $4.45 to $4.55.
For full-year 2026, Linde expects adjusted diluted EPS of $17.70 to $17.90, representing projected growth of 8% to 9% compared with the prior year.
The company supplies industrial gases and related technologies to customers across healthcare, manufacturing, energy, electronics and other industrial markets worldwide.
