
Lilly revenue skyrockets 48% to a massive $23B
- Lilly’s second-quarter revenue increased 48% to $23 billion, driven mainly by higher Mounjaro and Zepbound volumes.

Lilly (NYSE:LLY) reported second-quarter revenue of $23 billion, up 48%, as demand for Mounjaro and Zepbound supported volume growth.
Revenue increased from $15.56 billion one year earlier, while reported diluted EPS rose 26% to $7.94 and non-GAAP EPS increased 33% to $8.38.
Gross margin reached 85.8% of revenue, key products generated $15.7 billion and acquired research and development charges reduced earnings by $3.03 per share.
Looking ahead, Lilly raised its 2026 revenue forecast to $85–$87 billion, increased its non-GAAP performance-margin outlook to 49%–50.5% and narrowed adjusted EPS guidance to $35.50–$36.50.
Following the announcement, Lilly's share price was down 0.4% at $1,115.68 in premarket trading.
Lilly also secured an expanded U.S. approval for Ebglyss and reported positive Phase 3 retatrutide results, with the company planning regulatory submissions beginning in 2027.
The company completed its Centessa acquisition, agreed to acquire AtaiBeckley and committed another $4.5 billion to expand manufacturing facilities in Indiana.
