Liberty Global revenue sinks 7.7% to $1.17 billion

Liberty Global (NASDAQ:LBTYA) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.172 billion, down 7.7%, as its Growth and Telecom divisions weakened.

The company’s net loss narrowed to $357.8 million from $2.774 billion, while adjusted EBITDA fell 3.1% to $324.9 million.

Liberty Telecom revenue fell 2.7%, Liberty Growth revenue dropped 32.4%, and Liberty Corporate revenue increased 4%.

Meanwhile, Liberty raised its year-end cash target to $2 billion.

Elsewhere, Virgin Media O2 reached nine million full-fibre premises, while VodafoneZiggo recorded its strongest broadband performance in over six years.

Additionally, Liberty exited EdgeConneX for $604 million and continued preparations for a planned Ziggo Group spin-off around mid-2027.
