Leonardo DRS (NYSE:DRS) received contracts totaling $96 million to supply critical electronics hardware for the U.S. Navy’s MK 41 Vertical Launching System used on naval vessels.
The awards support the Navy’s primary shipborne missile launcher, which is also operated by 14 allied navies, with Leonardo DRS providing components designed to maintain launcher operations.
The contracts include Programmable Power Supplies, Launch Control Units, and MTP/STP power systems, with work scheduled at Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics facilities in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and Largo, Florida.
The contract awards were issued on July 22–23, 2026, as option modifications to existing multi-year agreements supporting MK 41 VLS electronics production.
Leonardo DRS provides defense technology solutions for military customers, including naval electronics, sensing systems, and mission equipment used by U.S. and allied forces.
