The acquisition effectively doubles Leidos’ presence in the energy sector, creating a scaled, end-to-end organization capable of addressing the complex challenges of global grid modernization.
By integrating ENTRUST’s specialized expertise, Leidos significantly expands its engineering capabilities across power delivery, transmission, and distribution.
This move is specifically designed to meet the surging demand from utility providers and government agencies tasked with integrating renewable energy sources and enhancing the resiliency of aging electrical infrastructure.
The deal brings more than 3,100 highly skilled professionals into the Leidos fold, many of whom possess deep technical expertise in gas, power, and telecommunications infrastructure.
