KBR wins Aramco Marjan field contract

KBR (NYSE:KBR) was awarded a facility upgrade contract by Saudi Aramco for the offshore Marjan field.

The agreement expands ongoing operational support for major offshore oil and gas production hubs in the Arabian Gulf.

The project is expected to maintain the field's production capacity and advance associated gas processing capabilities through digital technologies, automation and power system enhancements.

KBR expects primary project execution and detailed engineering tasks to be managed across its Houston and Al-Khobar operational hubs.

Following the announcement, KBR's share price was down at $62.15.

KBR provides specialized science, technology, and engineering solutions to government entities and commercial energy clients worldwide.

Saudi Aramco continues upgrading key production fields to sustain output efficiency and integrate advanced digital automation across its offshore infrastructure.
