KBR (NYSE:KBR) secured a five-year NATO time-and-materials recompete contract with an initial $60 million ceiling to support the PATRIOT air and missile defense system.

The award extends KBR's decades of PATRIOT work and includes integration with the Integrated Battle Command System across multiple combatant commands.

Work will span Redstone Arsenal and KBR facilities in Huntsville, Alabama, Letterkenny Army Depot in Pennsylvania and other global locations under the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.

KBR said the five-year program will provide command-and-control and sustainment support.

Following the announcement, KBR's share price was up 0.6% at $38.37.

KBR said Mission Technology Solutions is expected to become independent Trinzic in January 2027, launching with more than $5 billion in annual revenue and 18,000 employees.

The NATO award follows an estimated $208 million Army tactical munitions contract announced August 10 as KBR builds the contract portfolio planned for Trinzic.
