  • Kandi Technologies secured a second heavy-truck battery swap station equipment order through its China Battery Exchange subsidiary from CATL’s QIJI Energy.
  • The order follows an initial batch order placed in July 2026 under a three-year cooperation agreement.
  • Kandi said its Lin’an production facility can produce up to 200 battery swap stations annually.

Kandi Technologies (NASDAQ:KNDI) secured a second heavy-truck battery swap station equipment order through its China Battery Exchange subsidiary from QIJI Energy, a subsidiary of CATL.

The order follows QIJI Energy’s first batch purchase in July 2026 under a three-year cooperation agreement signed in January 2026 that designated China Battery Exchange as an equipment supplier for QIJI Energy’s heavy-truck battery-swapping program.

Kandi said China Battery Exchange began production at its Lin’an facility in July 2026, with the site expected to have annual production capacity of up to 200 battery swap stations.

Kandi Technologies develops electric vehicles, off-road vehicles, and related battery and mobility technologies through its business operations in China and other markets.

The company said the battery swap station agreement supports China Battery Exchange’s role in supplying equipment for QIJI Energy’s heavy-truck battery-swapping network.
