Huize Holding (NASDAQ:HUIZ) reported first half 2026 gross written premiums of RMB4,196.4 million, up 29.8% year-over-year, while revenue increased 5.8% to RMB719.8 million and profitability improved.

The results reflected stronger first-year premiums, which increased 48.7% to RMB2,763 million, while renewal premiums grew 4.2% to RMB1,433.4 million compared with the prior-year period.

Huize reported GAAP net profit attributable to common shareholders of RMB25.3 million, compared with RMB2.3 million a year earlier, while the expense-to-income ratio improved by 1.8 percentage points to 24.2%.

The company reported non-GAAP net profit of RMB3.1 million, compared with a non-GAAP net loss of RMB3.3 million in the first half of 2025, while cash and cash equivalents totaled RMB241.4 million as of June 30, 2026.

Huize served 13.1 million cumulative insurance clients and partnered with 159 insurers by June 30, 2026, continuing its operations as an online insurance marketplace focused on connecting consumers with insurance providers.
