Arthur J. Gallagher expands UK presence with acquisition of Bridge Insurance Brokers

Arthur J. Gallagher (NYSE:AJG), one of the world’s largest insurance brokerage, risk management, and consulting firms, announced today the acquisition of Bridge Insurance Brokers.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Bridge is a highly regarded commercial insurance broker with a specialized focus on real estate, construction, corporate risk, and private client services.

While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move marks a significant expansion of Gallagher’s operational capabilities within the British market.

Founded in 1970, Bridge Insurance Brokers has built a formidable reputation for handling complex risks, particularly within the property and construction industries.

Following the acquisition, Bridge will continue to operate from its established offices in Manchester and London.
