Freshpet (NASDAQ:FRPT) reported second-quarter sales of $305.6 million, up 15.5%, as volume increased 15.7%.
Sales rose from $264.7 million, while gross margin improved to 42.1% from 40.9% one year earlier.
Net income rose to $19.5 million, adjusted EBITDA reached $52.2 million and adjusted gross margin increased to 48.6%.
Freshpet raised 2026 sales growth guidance to 10%–12%.
Following the announcement, Freshpet's share price was up 7.2% at $66.85.
First-half sales rose 14.3% to $603.2 million, while operating cash flow increased to $84.8 million.
The company repurchased $54.4 million of shares and raised its 2027 adjusted gross margin target to at least 49%.
