Fortuna Mining (NYSE:FSM) reported gold mineralization below Lindero's current reserve pit design, including a 350-meter intersection averaging 0.96 grams per tonne.

The drilling results indicate potential resource growth beneath the existing mine plan, although the additional mineralization has not been classified as reserves.

Drill hole LDH-272 intersected 98 meters grading 0.91 grams per tonne below the pit design, while LDH-259 returned 94 meters grading 0.66 grams per tonne.

The completed exploration program comprised 31 drill holes totaling 8,534 meters, with mineralization remaining open at depth beneath the existing pit.

Fortuna plans an updated geological block model and pit design by year-end, followed by revised resource and reserve estimates in the first quarter of 2027.

Lindero produced 26,024 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2026, a 25% increase from the preceding quarter.

Located in Argentina's Salta Province, Lindero is an operating open-pit gold mine where Fortuna has been investigating mineralization beneath the reserve boundary.
