Evogene (NASDAQ:EVGN) reported a Q2 2026 net loss of approximately $1.8 million, narrowing from about $4.7 million in the prior-year quarter.
Q2 revenue declined to roughly $0.3 million from $0.5 million, mainly following the May conclusion of AgPlenus' agreement with Bayer.
Evogene cut its workforce from 117 employees in December 2024 to 38 in August 2026 and expects 2026 cash usage of approximately $8.5–$9.5 million.
First-half revenue fell to approximately $0.7 million from $2.9 million, while cash totaled $9.3 million and Q2 cash usage was about $2.1 million.
Evogene said it has six active drug collaborations and expanded ChemPass AI's virtual chemical space to approximately 110 billion molecules while focusing resources on pharmaceutical and crop-protection programs.
