
Equifax to acquire Círculo de Crédito for $750M
- Equifax (NYSE:EFX) agreed to acquire Mexico-based credit bureau Círculo de Crédito for an enterprise value of $750 million.
- The deal adds more than 1,700 customers, 2 billion tradelines, and 80 million validated identities to Equifax.
- Equifax expects the acquisition to support continued revenue growth and contribute to Adjusted EPS in the first full year after closing.
Equifax (NYSE:EFX) agreed to acquire Círculo de Crédito, a Mexico-based credit bureau, in a transaction valued at an enterprise value of $750 million and a purchase price of $825 million.
The acquisition adds consumer and commercial credit bureau services with more than 1,700 customers, 2 billion tradelines, and 80 million validated identities.
Círculo de Crédito generated estimated last-twelve-month revenue of $134 million through June 30, 2026, with revenue growth of 31% and adjusted EBITDA of $62 million.
Following completion, Equifax said it expects the acquisition to support continued high double-digit revenue growth for Círculo de Crédito in 2026.
Equifax expects the transaction to be accretive to adjusted EPS in the first full year after closing.
The company is targeting completion of the acquisition in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
