Energous (NASDAQ:WATT), a leading developer of RF-based wireless power networks, announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025.
The company’s performance represents a fundamental shift in commercial scale, as Energous transitioned from early-stage pilot programs to high-volume deployment of its proprietary PowerBridge technology.
For fiscal 2025, Energous reported revenue of approximately $5.6 million, marking a 633% increase over the previous year and the highest annual revenue in the company’s history.
This record performance was underpinned by the shipment of more than 25,000 PowerBridge transmitters throughout the year.
The surge in shipments reflects growing enterprise demand for "over-the-air" wireless power solutions, particularly within the retail, logistics, and industrial IoT sectors.
Profitability metrics also showed marked improvement alongside the top-line growth.
The company’s GAAP net loss improved by 48% year-over-year to $9.6 million, as Energous successfully managed operating expenses while scaling its manufacturing output.
Additionally, the gross margin rose to 36% for the full year, a significant jump from the prior year’s levels, illustrating the improved unit economics of the PowerBridge platform as it reaches commercial maturity.
The company’s capital position was substantially bolstered in early 2026.
Following the close of the fiscal year, Energous raised approximately $31.9 million in net proceeds through its At-the-Market (ATM) equity offering facility.
As of March 23, 2026, the company reported a cash balance of approximately $39.4 million, providing a robust financial foundation to support its 2026 growth initiatives and R&D pipeline.
