
Ecovyst sales jump 42% to $250 million

Ecovyst (NYSE:ECVT) reported second-quarter sales from continuing operations of $250 million, up 42%, as volumes and pricing increased.
Sales rose from $176.1 million, including approximately $55 million from passing higher sulfur costs through to customers.
Net income from continuing operations reached $10.7 million, adjusted EBITDA rose 27% to $53.1 million and first-half adjusted free cash flow was $12.8 million.
Ecovyst raised 2026 sales guidance to $1.020–$1.060 billion, and following the announcement, Ecovyst's share price was down 2.9% at $11.76.
The company completed its $190 million Calabrian acquisition on June 30, adding sulfur dioxide products for mining, water treatment, food and pharmaceutical applications.
Ecovyst repurchased $35.7 million of shares during the first half and ended June with $87.8 million in cash, $497.1 million in debt and 2.0-times net leverage.
