Dover reports strong second-quarter earnings and raises full-year 2026 guidance

Dover (NYSE:DOV) reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results, generating $2.19 billion in revenue.

This represents a 7 percent increase year over year, driven by a solid 5 percent organic growth rate across the business.

The diversified global manufacturer posted GAAP earnings from continuing operations of $313 million, a 12 percent increase from the prior year, translating to a GAAP diluted EPS of $2.31.

Adjusted earnings from continuing operations rose 10 percent to $372 million, while adjusted diluted EPS increased 12 percent to $2.74.

Following the earnings announcement, Dover's share price traded near $214.

For the first half of 2026, the company demonstrated sustained momentum.

Total revenue grew 8 percent to $4.24 billion, with GAAP diluted EPS reaching $4.06 and adjusted diluted EPS rising to $5.02.

Operationally, the organization achieved broad-based success, with all five of its business segments posting positive organic growth during the quarter.

Reflecting confidence in continued operational strength, management raised its full-year 2026 forward guidance.

Dover now expects GAAP EPS of $8.94 to $9.14 and adjusted EPS of $10.55 to $10.75.

The updated outlook is based on projected total revenue growth of 6 to 8 percent and expected organic growth of 4 to 6 percent for the year.
