DouYu (NASDAQ:DOYU) reported second quarter 2026 net revenues of RMB981.1 million, down 6.9% year-over-year, while gross profit increased to RMB159 million as lower revenue-sharing, content and bandwidth costs supported margins.

The results compared with the prior-year period as livestreaming revenue declined 13% to RMB503 million, while innovative business, advertising and other revenues increased 0.4% to RMB478.1 million.

DouYu reported a gross margin of 16.2%, up from the previous period, but sales and marketing expenses increased 102.6% to RMB124.8 million due to higher branding and promotional spending, leading to an operating loss of RMB21.3 million.

The company reported an adjusted net loss of RMB13.5 million on a non-GAAP basis, while average monthly active users for DouYu Livestreaming reached 45.4 million and its voice-based social networking business generated RMB272.3 million in revenue.

As of June 30, 2026, DouYu held RMB2,365.6 million in cash, restricted cash and bank deposits, while continuing operations across livestreaming, advertising and social networking services.
