Dominion Energy posts $712 million Q2 operating earnings

Dominion Energy (NYSE:D) announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, posting operating earnings (non-GAAP) of $712 million, or $0.79 per share.

This performance reflects an increase compared to the operating earnings of $649 million, or $0.75 per share, reported during the same three-month period in 2025.

The utility provider recorded unaudited GAAP net income of $340 million for the quarter, which translates to $0.37 per share.

These GAAP figures were lower than the net income of $760 million, or $0.88 per share, generated in the second quarter of the previous year.

Following the announcement, Dominion Energy's share price was down at $69.73.

Management reaffirmed its full-year 2026 operating earnings guidance, maintaining an expected range of $3.45 to $3.69 per share, with a midpoint of $3.57.

The corporation also reiterated all financial guidance initially provided during its fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call, encompassing credit, dividend, and long-term growth expectations.
