CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) reported second-quarter revenues of $106.1 billion, representing a 7.3% increase driven by broad segment gains.
This financial outcome presents a strong contrast to the prior year, bolstered by the absence of historical litigation charges.
"As our businesses work together to deliver a technology-powered care engagement experience, we continue to deliver strong performance," said CVS Health Chairman and CEO David Joyner.
The corporation recorded $4.7 billion in operating income, with its health care benefits segment experiencing an 85.5% adjusted income increase.
Management raised full-year forecasts, and following the announcement, CVS Health's share price was down at $104.27.
The business generated $10.6 billion in operating cash flow while the health services division achieved 11.5% revenue growth.
The pharmacy division saw a 10.2% adjusted income rise, aided by Rite Aid acquisitions and new AI deployments.
