Cummins announces revenue of $9.5 billion, up 9%

Cummins (NYSE:CMI) reported second-quarter revenue of $9.5 billion, up 9%, as power-generation and North American truck demand supported growth.

Revenue of $9.46 billion exceeded the $9.33 billion analyst estimate, while diluted EPS of $6.73 missed the $7.23 forecast.

Net income reached $932 million, while EBITDA was $1.7 billion and Cummins raised 2026 revenue-growth guidance to 10%–13%.

Following the announcement, Cummins' share price was down 7.6% at $599.24.

Power Systems sales increased 19% to $2.3 billion, while Distribution rose 9% to $3.3 billion and Accelera grew 38%.

Cummins returned $501 million to shareholders, raised its quarterly dividend to $2.20 and maintained its long-term cash-return target.
