Corteva (NYSE:CTVA) and Globachem agreed to establish a 50/50 joint venture focused on developing new crop protection products for farmers in Europe and the Americas.
The independently operated venture will use late-pipeline to commercial-stage technologies from both companies to develop, register, and market formulated crop protection solutions.
The products developed by the venture may be commercialized independently by one or both parent companies through their existing commercial channels, with closing targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The companies said the venture builds on an existing multi-year collaboration and that the first new solutions are expected to launch in the early 2030s, subject to development and regulatory approvals.
Corteva develops agricultural products including crop protection technologies, seeds, and digital farming solutions for growers worldwide.
