Copart (NASDAQ:CPRT) appointed Wilson Sonsini Senior Partner David J. Berger to its Board of Directors, effective August 13, 2026.

Berger, 67, has practiced at Wilson Sonsini since 1989 and focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism and related litigation.

Berger also serves as President of the American College of Governance Counsel and as a Long-Term Stock Exchange director, where he chairs its Nominating and Governance Committee.

Copart said Berger’s governance and M&A experience will support its board as the business develops.

Meanwhile, Copart reported fiscal Q3 2026 revenue of $1.2 billion, gross profit of $572.6 million and attributable net income of $402.4 million for the quarter ended April 30.

The board appointment follows recent leadership changes including Jay Adair’s return as CEO on July 31 and Jane Pocock’s promotion to President effective August 1.
