Columbus McKinnon (NASDAQ:CMCO) reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 net sales of $531.5 million, up 125% year over year, mainly due to the Kito Crosby acquisition and growth at Legacy CMCO.

Orders increased 120% to $568.1 million, while the book-to-bill ratio reached 1.1x, indicating that orders exceeded quarterly sales.

The company reported a net loss attributable to Columbus McKinnon of $88.7 million, or $2.05 per diluted share, including $70.3 million in acquisition and integration expenses.

Adjusted net income increased to $30.5 million, or $0.61 per diluted share, while adjusted EBITDA reached $111.5 million with a margin of 21.0%.

Columbus McKinnon raised its fiscal 2027 outlook after reporting stronger sales, orders and adjusted earnings performance during the first quarter.

The company generated $25.6 million in operating cash flow and $32.4 million in free cash flow excluding transaction costs, while ending the quarter with liquidity of $567.1 million.

Columbus McKinnon now expects fiscal 2027 net sales of $2.09 billion to $2.15 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $405 million to $420 million and adjusted EPS of $1.90 to $2.10.
