Cognyte Software (NASDAQ:CGNT), a global provider of investigative analytics software, announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ended January 31, 2026.

For the fourth quarter, Cognyte reported revenue of $106.2 million, an increase of approximately 12.4% compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

The company’s focus on high-margin software solutions led to a substantial improvement in its bottom-line performance.

GAAP operating income rose to $5.2 million, a stark increase from the $0.7 million reported in the prior-year period.

On a non-GAAP basis, operating income reached $12.1 million, doubling the $6 million recorded a year earlier.

The most notable highlight was the company's adjusted EBITDA, which climbed to $15 million.

This represents a 62.5% year-over-year increase, highlighting Cognyte's ability to drive operational leverage as its revenue scales.

This efficiency filtered through to the final results, with the company posting a GAAP net income of $5.1 million for the quarter, successfully reversing a net loss of $0.2 million from the fourth quarter of the previous year.
