
China Automotive Systems earnings rise 43%
- China Automotive Systems’ 2025 net sales increased 17.6% to $765.7 million, while net income rose 42.9% to $42.8 million.
- Diluted EPS increased to $1.42, and the company’s shares gained 9.8% in premarket trading after the release.
- China Automotive Systems forecasts 2026 revenue of $810 million and will publish first-half results on August 13.
China Automotive Systems (NASDAQ:CAAS) reported 2025 net sales of $765.7 million, up 17.6%, while shareholder net income rose 42.9% to $42.8 million.
Sales increased from $650.9 million, diluted EPS rose to $1.42 from $0.99 and fourth-quarter revenue climbed 21.4% to $229.2 million.
“The 2025 year was marked by higher sales growth, improved profitability, strengthened finances, higher cash flow from operations and organizational changes,” said China Automotive Systems CEO Qizhou Wu.
Gross profit rose 33.2% to $145.5 million, operating income reached $53.6 million and operating cash flow increased to $111.3 million.
Following the announcement, China Automotive Systems' share price was up 9.8% at $4.70 in premarket trading.
Electric power-steering sales increased 25.5%, traditional steering sales rose 12.6%, Brazil revenue grew 34.7% and North American sales climbed 15.3%.
China Automotive Systems forecasts 2026 revenue of $810 million and will release its unaudited first-half results before the market opens on August 13.
