Boeing delivers 171 commercial aircraft in second quarter

  • First-half commercial deliveries reached 314 aircraft, their highest level since 2018 and 12% above the previous year.
  • Boeing also delivered 35 defence and space units, taking its first-half total to 65.

Boeing (NYSE:BA) delivered 171 commercial aircraft in 2Q26, led by 129 737s, bringing its first-half total to 314 units.

The quarterly total was 19.6% above the 143 delivered in 1Q26, while first-half volume increased 12% year over year.

Commercial deliveries also included 10 767s, seven 777s and 25 787 Dreamliners, taking their respective year-to-date totals to 16, 15 and 40.

Defense, Space & Security delivered 35 units, including 15 Apaches, six Chinooks, three F-15s, three F/A-18s and four KC-46 tankers.

Following the announcement, Boeing's share price was up 1.85% at $219.50 shortly after the release.

Boeing said the delivery figures include new-build aircraft, remanufactures and modifications and remain preliminary until its July 28 financial results.

The company delivered 600 commercial aircraft during 2025 and reported a record US$695 billion backlog at the end of 1Q26.
