
American Battery revenue reaches $8.2 million

American Battery Technology Company (NASDAQ:ABAT) reported fourth quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $8.2 million, up 5.1% quarter-over-quarter, while gross profit increased to a company record of $1.3 million.
The results compared with the previous quarter as cost of goods sold declined 2.8% to $6.9 million, with the company citing operational efficiencies at its Nevada critical mineral recycling facility.
American Battery Technology reported $50.3 million in cash, including $49.5 million in unrestricted cash, and no debt, while the company received full reinstatement of a previously terminated $57 million Department of Energy grant supporting its planned $115 million Tonopah Flats Lithium Project processing train.
The company advanced development of a second U.S. recycling facility and completed the NEPA baseline study for its Tonopah Flats claystone-to-lithium hydroxide project while launching a Definitive Feasibility Study.
American Battery Technology previously outlined project economics including planned production of 30,000 tonnes per annum of lithium hydroxide monohydrate, an after-tax NPV(8%) of $2.57 billion and an IRR of 21.8%, while the company said a new federal directive restricting black mass exports could affect revenue because black mass represents most current sales.
